It's been revealed by Philippe Dupuy on NiceMatin.com that Gainsbourg (vie héroïque) will receive 5 stars in Wednesday's edition (the day of the film's release) calling it a "truly magnificent film"and likening it more to a Tim Burton fantasy than a traditional biopic.Dupuy also interviews Writer/Director Joann Sfar, in which he cites his own parents' musical roots and his desire to restore Serge Gainsbourg's reputation as a poet and patriot as his primary inspiration for making the film.
