Although you may or may not not know his face, Doug Jones, the only American cast member of Gainsbourg (vie héroïque) has been one of Hollywood and International Cinema's biggest stars for years. He's been recognized for his roles in several award winning films including Pan's Labyrinth (as the Faun), Hellboy (as Abe Sapien), and The Cabinet of Dr.Caligari (as Cesare) among many other recognizable titles.  However, in many of these roles he's been masked with heavy make-up, prosthesis, and special effects. The same goes for this role as La Gueule in Joann Sfar's Gainsbourg (vie héroïque), for which he's earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Recently, he's also been cast in several upcoming films that are on everyone's radar including the horror film, Legion, Frankenstein, and the upcoming Guillermo del Toro projects yet to start shooting, The Hobbit (Parts 1 & 2).
