The first sneak previews of Writer/Director Joann Sfar's Gainsbourg (vie héroïque) began promptly à 20 heures (at 8 PM) yesterday and the reviews are starting to trickle in. One member of our Facebook Fan Page, Agathe Legrain, says:
"I just got back from the first sneak (preview) in Lille ! At the beginning, few actors of the movie were there (Eric Elmosnino, Sara Forestier, Yollande Moreau). Joan Sfarr translates with an amazing way, the beautiful mad man he was, Gainsbourg to Gainsbarre..."
The actors each spoke briefly about their characters and one another, but did not stick around to watch the film with the audience.
Needless to say, the film sounds promising at the very least. Now all we can do is wait for a US release date.
